Helix is not a coaching program. Our training requires a deep commitment to self-inquiry, personal growth, and the cultivation of authentic, compassionate relationships. Many coaching programs are situated on what one can do to get the results we need.  It is future thinking.  Many psychological programs are looking to a client's past in order to address deep seated behaviors that are addressed in order to be able to have a thriving life.  Helix combines those two in order for people to be peacefully present in the here and now and move forward into the future, not constrained by the pains of the past.

At Helix, we do offer certificates to our graduates, but our focus is on much more than just the credential. Unlike the quick online certifications that promise instant qualifications, Helix represents a journey of deep personal and professional transformation. Our program is designed to equip graduates not just with a certificate, but with the skills, presence, and wisdom needed to hold truly profound and healing spaces, whether in one-on-one sessions or in group settings.

We understand that certifications hold value, especially for those looking to advance their careers. However, at Helix, the certificate is just one aspect of a much richer experience. Our training goes beyond the superficial to address the core of what it means to support others on their healing journeys. 

The conversation around the limitations of mainstream therapy is growing. More than just limitations, clients are continually engaging in conversations on Reddit about trauma experiences caused by unskillful triggered therapists who don’t know how to do their work and weren’t trained to process or give themselves the self care they need to keep their mind and energy clear. 

We are in conversations with clients—many of us are holding space for therapists who have gone through the traditional training and they don't feel like it's enough. They're not connecting deep enough with their clients, and they're not seeing the results. They’re looking for more so that they can better serve their clients and meet their unmet needs.

Helix responds to this need from therapists by offering a broader perspective on healing, one that integrates spiritual and communal aspects into the therapeutic process. We help practitioners create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore and heal their deepest wounds via myriad modalities. Helix-trained counselors are more equipped to meet clients where they’re at. We know this is needed due to our direct personal experience with clients, some of whom are psychotherapists and psychiatrists.

For over 40 years, The Helix Training Program has bridged ancient wisdom with modern practices. Our 3-year program offers deep spiritual knowledge accessible to those without decades of apprenticeship. By integrating science, psychology, and spiritual wisdom, we offer a comprehensive, spiritually-informed approach to healing, tailored for those underserved by traditional therapy or rituals alone, whether they are new to these paths or seasoned practitioners.
